Terms of Service
These terms govern the relationship between users and SomaTrace. SomaTrace is operated by Tsai Cheng En as an individual ("we"). By using the service you agree to the terms below.
- SomaTrace is a case-record and workflow-organization tool that helps users record, organize, compare, and review client information. SomaTrace is not a medical device and does not perform diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or any medical practice.
- Content, reports, visuals, and comparisons shown by the service are workflow aids only. They do not constitute medical diagnosis, treatment advice, or professional medical opinion, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any health-related decision. Users and their clients should consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns.
- AI-assisted prompts, summaries, or suggestions offered by the service are produced by generative models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or wrong. Such outputs are for reference only; users must evaluate their applicability and must not act on AI output alone when assessing or working with a client.
- Users must operate within their lawful scope of practice and must not use SomaTrace to perform activities reserved for licensed medical professionals under applicable law, nor represent the service's outputs as having diagnostic or therapeutic efficacy.
- Users are responsible for safeguarding their account and must not share or transfer account access.
- For the client records a user creates within the service, the user is the collector and controller of that personal data; we merely provide cloud storage and processing on the user's instructions (as a data processor).
- Users must, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable laws, inform their clients and obtain their consent before collecting client data. That consent must cover storing the data in our cloud, using it for AI-assisted organization, and de-identified aggregate analysis (see the Privacy Policy). All liability arising from a failure to obtain the required consent or from a violation of applicable law is borne solely by the user; if we face any third-party claim or damage as a result, the user shall provide necessary assistance and indemnify us.
- Users agree that we may, in accordance with the Privacy Policy, analyze client data in a de-identified, non-re-identifiable aggregate form in order to improve the service's features and content quality.
- Intellectual property in the service's software, interface, content, prompts, and report templates belongs to us; client records a user creates within the service belong to the user. The service's content may not be reproduced, adapted, or distributed without authorization.

- Users may delete their account at any time from settings; we may also suspend or terminate an account, after reasonable notice, where a user materially breaches these terms. After account deletion, related data is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Where a client is a minor or a person under guardianship, the user must additionally obtain the consent of their legal representative.
- We will make reasonable efforts to maintain availability. During maintenance or external incidents, some features may be temporarily affected.
