Connect Google Calendar
Set Google busy sources, appointment export and buffers. Understand stale data, duplicate subscriptions and disconnection.
Use Google busy times to help exclude unavailable booking times, and choose a calendar for SomaTrace appointments. This is separate from the read-only 「預約日曆訂閱」 (Appointment calendar feed).
This guide follows the Traditional Chinese interface labels, with English explanations.
1. Connect the Google account
Open Settings → 「Google 日曆」 (Google Calendar). If disconnected, choose 「連接 Google 帳號」 (Connect Google account). Check the account and requested permissions on Google’s authorisation page before approving. Back in SomaTrace, check the account and connection status, then configure busy sources and the appointment calendar.

Signing in to SomaTrace with Google doesn’t connect your calendar. Connect it separately here with 「連接 Google 帳號」.
Google’s authorisation page describes this permission more broadly (view, create, change and delete events on calendars you own) than SomaTrace uses it; SomaTrace only writes, changes and deletes the appointment events it created itself.
2. Select busy sources
Select at least one calendar under 「忙碌來源」 (Busy sources); multiple selections are allowed. These sources provide busy periods to check against your public availability.

Then check the times actually offered on the public page. If a busy period is not reflected, check the selected source, the Google event’s busy setting and the update status in SomaTrace.
3. Choose the appointment calendar
Under 「預約寫入行事曆」 (Appointment calendar), choose one calendar you own. It can also be selected as a busy source.
To create a dedicated calendar:
Select 「新增一本行事曆」 (Create a calendar). Check the name, initially filled as 「微象預約」, and edit it if needed. Confirm that you want a new calendar in the Google account, then select 「建立」 (Create), or 「取消」 (Cancel) to leave it.

Each exported event is titled “client name・service name”; its description holds your studio name and a link back to SomaTrace, and its location is the one in your profile. Events are marked private, but anyone with “make changes to events” access or higher on that calendar can still see them, so check its sharing.
4. Set external-calendar buffers
Set the before and after values under 「外部行事曆緩衝」 (External calendar buffers). Each accepts 0–240 minutes.
For example, a 14:00–15:00 busy period with 30 minutes on each side gives a range of 13:30–15:30 to check. Set buffers for preparation, travel and closing time.
Select 「儲存行事曆設定」 (Save calendar settings).

5. Check status and results
Read the displayed sync status and update time, such as 「同步正常」 (Syncing normally). If an error, revoked authorisation or stale update appears, check the connection and sources, then check the times on the public page. While data is “stale”, the last busy times read keep blocking, but events added since then are not yet included; once access is lost, the public page stops blocking Google events altogether (losing access to any one busy source releases them all), so double bookings become possible — reconnect promptly.

Confirmed SomaTrace appointments can be written to the chosen calendar. To reschedule or cancel, make the change in SomaTrace, then check the result in Google. If you edit only the copy in Google, the SomaTrace appointment stays as it was.
A calendar-conflict warning means an appointment overlaps an external event, and SomaTrace won’t move either one. Compare the two, then decide whether to reschedule.
Already using the appointment calendar feed?
If you use the 「預約日曆訂閱」 (Appointment calendar feed) and Google appointment export together, the same appointment may appear twice. Follow the page’s warning to decide whether to select 「停用訂閱」 (Turn the calendar feed off).
Turning the feed off in SomaTrace leaves the subscription you added in Google Calendar in place; remove it in Google too if you no longer want it shown.
Disconnect
Select 「斷開連線」 (Disconnect). Read the warning: disconnection stops Google busy periods blocking availability and stops new appointment exports. SomaTrace appointments remain unaffected; existing external events are retained by default. To remove future copies too, tick 「順便刪掉未來的外部行事曆活動」 (Also delete future SomaTrace events). The dialog limits this to future events written by SomaTrace, not events you created yourself. Check the impact and deletion scope, then select 「斷開連線」, or 「取消」 (Cancel) to stop.

Disconnection is done once the settings page confirms it. Then look in Google Calendar to see which events remain: without the delete option, existing events are all kept.
When you delete your SomaTrace account, SomaTrace asks Google to revoke access and removes its calendar data; if Google cannot be reached at that moment the deletion still completes, so remove the access in your Google Account yourself. Appointment events already written to Google are not deleted — use Disconnect with the delete-future-events option first if you want them gone.
Calendar data
SomaTrace’s privacy policy states that selected calendar names and busy start/end times are processed, and that event titles and identifiers are also read and stored for calendars you own. The email and name of the connected Google account are stored too; titles are kept only for calendars you own and selected as busy sources. Read the full policy and Google authorisation scope before connecting.
Public availability and client information retained in the destination calendar serve different purposes. Check sources, the appointment calendar and sharing one by one.
